Roland is a Certified Personal Trainer based in San Francisco. Through his wellness approach, Roland works with his clients to encourage healthy physical and mental states through physical conditioning. Training the entire person — mind + body — can transform personal development and lasting change.

"Training with Roland Borys in San Francisco has been life changing. My experience started when I woke up one morning and decided it was time to get back in shape. After my first meeting with Roland I knew it was a good match. He understood my fitness goals of wanting to be lean, maximizing my build, and started off strengthening my core. Workouts are well rounded, he knows what he is doing, and takes the time to understand my body range. We have trained three days a week for 9 months, at the gym, in the park, and virtually. And, I am now a completely different person. I embarked on this journey to better myself and Roland has been instrumental in hitting my goals and making new ones."

Responsive and Flexible

“Roland is flexible in helping me feel comfortable and safe during COVID-19. He is quick to accommodate me by providing several options for my training. He has been mindful of safe social distancing and other sanitary practices to ensure my safety while training. As a mother of two, I have been impressed with his professionalism and regular check-ins to assess my comfortability. He’s even made house calls and set up regular appointments to train me out of my home.”

Strength and Awareness

“Roland has helped me rethink what it means to go to the gym. I used to think my body wouldn’t move how it was supposed to. It made me feel embarrassed and uncertain about exercising. But, that has changed from working with Roland. By using a variety of tools, Roland has helped me connect and understand how to move my body. It’s not about moving weights for me now; it’s about how to move my body to help me move the weights. Now, I remind myself that it all begins with my mind.”
